In Friday, near midnight, according to the lightning direction finder, storm area was observed, approaching CMW from the South. In half an hour nippy cold wind and first strikes of lightnings were appeared. It started to rain a little, then it intensified. The weather temperature in Pyatigorsk dropped to 2 degrees. About 1:00 AM the center of lightning activity reached Pyatigorsk and Essentuky. Near 2:00 AM thunder-storm went far 50 km northeast and faded away, lightning strikes stopped to be registered.
